Alex is an accomplished Chartered Town Planner with 20 years experience working for local government, private practices and a law firm. He has expertise on a range of complex planning issues, predominantly relating to residential, commercial and leisure developments. Alex manages a varied caseload of projects including major applications for volume housebuilders, appeals and the strategic promotion of land.

Will Ridalls

Planning Consultant

Will has experience in preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals for a variety of development proposals, as well as engaging with local plan production.

Will joined the team in 2021, undertaking a degree apprenticeship, achieving a master’s degree in Urban Planning from UWE Bristol. He is now working to become a chartered member of the RTPI.

Colin joined PCL Planning Ltd in October 2026 and has over 30 years’ experience. Colin commenced his career as a Planning Officer in Hertsmere, before going on to work for several authorities across the south east and more recently south west regions. He also has extensive experience working in the private sector , having worked for an architectural practice, housebuilder, and nationwide estate agent.

This will help PCL to continue providing a comprehensive lead consultancy and project co-ordination service throughout the south west.
